Airolite’s Miami-Dade and Florida Building Code louvers are designed to meet the stringent criteria establish by the Florida Building Code. Miami-Dade and Florida Building Code louvers provide high volume flow rates, impact resistance, protection against water penetration and high wind-loads. Miami-Dade and Florida Building Code louvers are available in 5 and 6-inch frame depths.

K605MD Miami-Dade is a sightproof, horizontal, drainable head louver that serves a number of design requirements. The louver is 100% sightproof when viewed from any orientation or perspective, yields high free area, high air volume flow rates at moderate static pressure differential, and provides moderate protection against water infiltration.

SCV602MD/VCD-40 is a sightproof, vertical blade, drainable exterior louver with interior damper that complies with the Florida Building Code and is Miami-Dade approved for use in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone for closed building structure envelope protection or installations where the enclosed space incorporates no provision to accommodate water infiltration (dry rooms) at elevations up to 33-feet above grade; or, closed structures or installations where the enclosed space is designed to accommodate water penetration (wet rooms) at elevations greater than 33-feet above grade.
